Far North Queensland
– Field expedition –
Video footage derived from deployments of benthic baited stereo-cameras (BRUVS) conducted during a research expedition to the Great Barrier Reef in Queensland, Australia, in April – May 2018. The world’s largest living structure comprises over 3,800 reefs and hundreds of islands, stretching 2,300km along Australia’s east coast.
The expedition was supported by the Pangaea Initiative and the Ian Potter Foundation and was undertaken to better understand the role of sharks in coral reef ecosystems.
